Spooky Atlanta 2: Zombies, Mountains, and Bare Midriffs

Well, It wouldn’t be Halloween without Zombies. And what better way to celebrate zombies than to just go for the gore!

This house was spectacular! It sat along a very unassuming street on the way from Tim and Leiana’s and where we went for breakfast. I wish I had gotten shots of it at night. The zombies had spotlights on them.

After being thoroughly spooked (and impressed) Noah and I set out with Tim and their old high school friend, Darren, to Stone Mountain.

I know what you’re thinking: When you think of climbing a mountain this may come to mind:

Yes, that's me. Trust me, I'm terrified.

But Stone Mountain was more like a relaxing hike. It was more of a strenuous stroll, really, but still ended with a pretty beautiful view.

The bare midriff wasn’t really a conscious style choice. It was HOT and sunny. By the time we reached the top I was beyond caring if I would blind everyone with my stomach.

I also got to try out Darren’s awesome 80-200mm zoom lens.

I would love to go back to Atlanta again. We were only there for three full days and I would love to explore more of the city and eat more food!
